How are Tribalí meat patties different?
Glad you asked! The answer is simple — PRIORITIES! We pride ourselves on using only the freshest ingredients from the most reliable sources. That means animals that were humanely raised on open pastures with clean diets free of antibiotics, hormones, and pesticide-laden animal feed. We prioritize this above all else, because what goes into the animal’s body goes into your body.
Why should I choose 100% Grass Fed & Finished beef?
Because 100% Grass Fed and Finished Beef is better for you and better for the animal. True Grass Fed & Finished Beef is higher in vitamins A, E, and antioxidants — but most importantly, it’s higher in “good” omega-3 fats and lower in “bad” omega-6 fats. Remember it’s not: “You are what you Eat, but you are what your Eat, Eats.” Look for “grass finished” — most labeled grass fed beef is “finished” on grain, corn and soy. Unless your label says it’s 100% grass fed and finished, then the cattle is likely grain-finished, and therefore NO better than feedlot, conventional beef.
Where do Tribalí ingredients come from?
This is a great question to ask when considering what to put in your body. Across all ingredients, we believe in sustainability and transparency. We are globally inspired and locally sourced!
All of our protein sources are certified Global Animal Partnership (GAP) ranches here in the USA, some of which we visit regularly. We only source from Global Animal Partnership (GAP) rated ranches, to ensure we're supporting ranchers who raise their animals humanely, on grass, free of confinement, as nature intended. This means animals are:
- Grass- Fed, Grass-Finished and Grain-Free
- Antibiotic-Free and Hormone-Free
- Naturally Weaned
- Sustainably Farmed
- Humanely Treated
Please visit the GAP website to learn more about the program: www.globalanimalpartnership.org
We look to the world for our spice and flavor combinations and source the freshest herbs, spices, vegetables and purées from local growers. Many of our herbs, spices, and purées come from ranches and farms located here in California. When needed, we supplement through other quality purveyors throughout the USA.

What is the best way to open my patties?
We pride ourselves in using the freshest ingredients to offer you a delicious, home-style patty. No frozen hockey pucks here! Our unique freezer-wrap seals in freshness to last in your freezer, and to eliminate the “freezer-burn” you’ll find on other patties. Bring them home and put them straight in your freezer until you’re ready to cook them up.
When you’re ready to use them, pull them out of the freezer and use a kitchen shears to cut along the perimeter of the patty, pulling back on the black film to expose the patty. Take your time — once you have them open, the patties cook in just minutes!
How long will my Tribalí patties last in my freezer?
We grind, mix and blend our meats with the freshest vegetables, spices, herbs and purées, then vacuum-seal our patties to ensure lasting quality. They will keep in your freezer for 6-8 months. Keep frozen until ready to use. No thawing necessary — cook them straight from frozen.
Do I need to defrost Tribalí patties?
Nope — life just got easier! Our patties are made to go straight from your freezer onto the outdoor grill, under the broiler, or into the frying pan with no need to defrost. If you like to plan ahead and you did want to thaw them, you could put them straight from the freezer into the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but its not necessary.
What’s the best way to cook Tribalí patties?
our patties to make a classic burger or to accompany any side, get inspiration from our recipes. Our patties are ready in less than 10 minutes! We like to pan fry them, but you can follow package directions using the method that works best for you:
Broil: Preheat broiler. Place frozen patties in a broiler pan on a rack 3 to 4 inches from heat. Broil 10 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
Grill: Cook frozen patties over hot coals or on a gas grill 4 to 6 minutes on each side.
Pan Fry: (our preferred method) Preheat a heavy cast-iron skillet. Place frozen patties in skillet and turn burner to medium-low heat. Cook 10-12 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking.
Keep in mind that cooking times may vary. Grass-fed and finished beef should not be overcooked. Patties are done when internal temperature reaches 160 degrees fahrenheit for beef and 165 degrees fahrenheit for chicken.
Are Tribalí patties healthy?
Your body needs protein. Our patties are a flavorful, high quality source of clean protein. One patty gives you up to 22 grams — a full serving of protein for one meal. Cooked from frozen, ready in minutes, and with three great flavors to choose from, there’s enough variety to keep you and everyone you know well-nourished and happy!
